Kaye’s book is a self-proclaimed “Beginner’s Guide” to critical thinking, and it shows. She’s written several introductions to philosophy and logic with students in mind. I give this guide 4 critjcal out of 5. It will help you discern faults in reasoning from sound arguments. I picked up Critical Thinking from my school library for just some light reading, with the intention of getting smarter from having read said text. I think it will be helpful in my everyday life to better understand communication with people.
Those who are in college, in careers where they have to make decisions on a regular basis, or would just guided to know how they can become better learners should take a listen to this book.
